Pre-dewatering stage before final pressing
Sludge dewatering systems often include a pre-dewatering stage for very dilute sludge streams.
AF-Table gravity table is well-suited for all types of sludges, but it is designed especially for thickening "difficult" sludges or when operating with high hydraulic capacities.
AF-Table separates easily removable free water from the inlet sludge flow prior to the final pressing. It offers you a modulated construction with low investment and operational costs and reduces sludge volume to the sludge presses. Sludge thickening to 8 - 17 % consistency is typical of the AF-Table.

AF-Press is especially designed for P&P sludges. The size and geometry are chosen on the basis of sludge properties. Thanks to a wide size range and tailor-made process design, it is possible to handle sludges from 5 BDt/d up to 140 BDt/d with one line. When high compressing forces can be used, the extremely strong construction allows a very high torque and minimizes the need of maintenance.
High dry solids content and good filtrate water quality can be achieved by means of AF-Press.
AF-Belt Twin Wire Press

Aquaflow's AF-Belt twin wire press is specifically designed for pulp & paper mill sludge dewatering applications. AF-Belt is ideally suited for applications, where sludge inlet consistency and quality vary and for sludge mixtures with significant biosludge content.
AF-Belt is designed to operate at low wire speeds in order to reach the highest possible dewatered sludge cake dryness (30 - 50 %) depending on ash and biosludge content.
