Our research and development aims at continuous development in the field of water, effluent and sludge treatment. All our main processes can be tested in advance with different movable pilot units in order to secure reliable performance in the full-scale applications. In addition, we have a close cooperation with local universities and research institutes to be kept updated with the latest trends and technologies.
Veolia R & D has 800 experts, 5 research centers in Europe, more than 100 functionality and reliability pilot schemes and more than 200 industrial and academic scientific partners. The research teams use highly sophisticated tools and methods to optimize the efficiency and costs of different treatment processes and developing integrated wastewater management solutions preserving the natural milieus and fresh water resources and to design tomorrow's water and wastewater treatment systems.
